For artists
Play. Mix. Talk.
Three ways in. Nobody buys a slot here.
Play a room
A booked set at an ICS night. Event slots open case by case, and submissions are welcome. Your lane, your selection, your hour.
Submit your work
DJs, live acts, working artists. Send mixes and work for rotation and distribution through the ICS network and shows. Credited to you, linked back.
Interview
A long conversation, published as a written feature in your own words. You read it and approve it before it goes live.
What you get
A straight answer
Some sets are paid, some are not. Which one it is gets said in writing before you commit, never after. Nobody here finds out on the night.
- Documented. DJ sets are recorded live in Melbourne with one of our venue partners.
- The room. Dark, tight, low light, people who came for the music.
- Promotion across the ICS channels.
What this is not
No pay to play
- Nobody buys a slot. Ever.
- No corporate playlist. Nobody hands you a set list.
- No corporate sponsorship, so nothing you play is somebody’s ad.
Sending it
What we need
- A mix link. One is enough.
- One line on your lane. What you play and where it comes from.
- Your socials, and which of the three you are up for.
There is no form. Reply to the email and that is the submission.
The 24 September bill is closed. This is for the summer season and for ICS Radio.

How we cover people
ICS has run artist features since the beginning. Word On The Street for the ones coming up. In The Cut for the DJs. Serato Presents In The Mix for the selectors.
They are still running. The names change.
